Wearing Seat Belts
The driver is responsible for ensuring that all occupants are wearing a seat belt inside the vehicle where one is fitted.
Seat Belts While Reversing
The driver of the vehicle does not need to wear a seat belt in the event of reversing the vehicle.

Where seat belts have been removed from a vehicle, such vehicle may not be used on any public road.

Where no seat belt is fitted on the front passenger seat, children up to the age of 14 must sit on the back seat.

No occupant may sit on a seat where there is no seat belt fitted, while a seat with a seat belt is available elsewhere in the vehicle.
